In a ceremony held on 31th March 2011, the new pavilion was declared open by Sir Trevor Brooking, the Football Association's director of football development. Built using funding from the Football Foundation, the building contains changing rooms, a rangers office, a meeting room and the Mad Hatters Tea Room.
There are ten changing rooms off an inner courtyard, each equipped with washing facilities and toilets. For the storage of personal possessions, outside of each changing room there is an area with pigeon holes that can be securely locked down during the match. For the match officials there are three changing rooms equipped with showers, toilets and lockers. All the changing areas, cafe and meeting rooms have under floor heating.
Public toilets are located on the side of the building facing the children's play area.
